Winter is here !

I always get excited driving up north to Ke’e beach. Luckily I live on Kauai so I can drive up there any time with no need for a reservation. Yesterday the weather was rainy and overcast when I left my home. But by the time I get to the Haena State Park parking lot, the clouds had cleared up just enough to get some decent, moody shots.

I love a good black and white image, I understand that some don’t. Quite often when it’s overcast the colors of the landscape are very flat but the black and white contrast really pops. See for yourself please !
